July Looking Back

We had my dad's service on May 7th, 2016. There were so many people who attended and I am so thankful for each person who did. Every person who arrived blessed us so much. I was overwhelmed. Family flew in from around the country and friends from everywhere. It was a very special day. My dad wanted to have a service. He wanted it at Redeemer, our church. And I think it was as he wanted it to be.  I have not taken many pictures since April 16th. I don't know why. I just haven't wanted to. But here are some from the service. I didn't take very many. And a few from life inbetween thenand now.   Uncle Pete, Aunt Karen, Uncle Esmail, Aunt Mary Jane, Uncle Andy, Aunt Susan, cousin Alex, cousin Sally, cousin Roxanne White and cousin Jim White, and Omi  Outside the hospice..  Alex is building his climbin board... He is very gifted at climbing. We are encouraging him to work for the Olympics.  Addison at our Night of the Arts... ...

Time has taken on new significance. And I know I can not adequately express my thoughts and feelings in words. The grief is hard. It almost seems like the world is a less stable place without my dad in it. I know that that the world is the same but it just seems different. I miss him so much. I don't want to ever not miss him. But that makes it hard to sleep at night. So I will post today. I put together a long slideshow that was shown at the service on May 7. So on here, I will just post a few pictures. My dad really loved family. He loved the beach. He loved the Lord. Uncle Pete and Dad on the lake in Pittsfield. ...
