Happy Thanksgiving! I have so much to be so thankful for. And it is so nice to have a day set aside to remember how blessed we are and to spend time with family. Even though we are not with many of you. We miss you! We need UK for the 4am shopping!!  First, before the pictures, I included Lincoln's Proclomation of Thanksgiving. It is well worth the time to read. Govenor William Bradford in Plymouth Colony set aside the first Thanksgiving day as a day for thanksgiving and prayer. It was then celebrated by different states on different dates throughout the earlier history of the country. Then President Lincoln declared it a national holiday and unifed the date we set aside to give thanks.    I am so thankful that we live in a place that is not a warzone, that we have food on the table and in the stores. The Last Week of October and First Weekend of November... Fall Festival with lots of fod and fun!  Mom and Atley on a hay ride! In our co-op, one of Atley's classes is Astronomy. She is making a model of the moons phases with oreo cookies! But then she ate them! The Duchess of Burgess, the witch (fake) the Little Princess Brown, and Facebook! Humour on several levels with that one! The diet book for trick or treat was a bit of humour too! Alex was at work, then tennis and the Duke of Burgess (Rick) was off on a hunting expedition. :)) Counting the loot! We are in a literature club and do field trips based on different books. This was a family event, put on by all the members, based on the book The Duchess Bakes a Cake. This was so fun! Who can get the most balls on the other side! We began the month by inviting Omi over for a tea party... Then Adder recieved his Senoir Brown belt... Hanging around at a birthday party.... Cool cars at the State Fair! Popop happiily sharing his food! :) This was a crazy drop!!!!
