Bee Joyful

 Atley's birthday started with SNOW! Here  that is a rare occurance and 1/2 inch is a big deal! It snowed the night before her birthday, just like on the day she was born and it was so beautiful! I love snow! And Atley chose to go to an ice skating rink for her party. I knew with the ages of the children it could be tricky, but the place we went allowed you to use buckets!  I had another mom, Wendy, and Alex and Addison helping me with the children. Atley had 8 friends with her and most had never skated! We all had a BLAST!  Mileah got out on the ice and took off! By the end she was going backwards and turning! Popop and Omi were with us too!  Wendy, Sammy, Omi and Emily...  Need a rest?Addison came up with this ingenious idea!  Gemma flying across the ice like her sister!  Look! No bucket!! And I love how Atley picks her clothes out every night for the next day. She picked this because she wanted a dress and she wore it...

I have been a little slow in posting this month! The pictures are a bit out of order but here they are! I will start with and update from our Christmas! Grammy and Grampy Meehan came to visit for a couple of days. It was so nice to see them again and we had a really relaxed visit. Rick was battling a virus so we mostly stayed around the house and played games and visited.  We opened gifts together the first hour! We also all got to go see Addison and Atley perform in the final show of Around the World! Later that week, we took a hike to a trail north of us. Atley is the sentry! Grammy made Addison a HOMEMADE hand stitched quilt!!!!! We know a lot of love went into it and he treasures it.  I am sure as he grows older he will treasure it even more. Legos for girls! Atley dressed up especially for Grammy and Grampy! She was counting the days til  they arrived. Addison and Atley  loves to cook, but it takes a good amount of sugar and yummy to get Ale...
