Fall is Officially Here

Looking forward to what lies ahead... Addison is teaching himself about different plants and attempting to grow things from seed. His big mission is to get a some kiwi! Here he is working with Omi on the grape leaves. We had our kick off for one of the homeschool groups we are involved in. Rick is in a competition on stage. Our friends, the Lewis' rented a beach house for the week. They invited us to come for a bit so we stayed a couple of days and had sooooo much fun! This looks like they are really high up, but they are not. It is an illusion. But a pretty cool one! We are on a big deck, and have the telescope set up here. The drop off on the side is about 5 feet from where they are sitting. We were able to see the moon so well. I think we were all amazed at the detail. And we saw Mercury as well. Here is most of the gang! I love the net on the head! The afternoon we were leaving, a big storm passed through. Intense! Popop turned the ...

What a beautiful and joyfilled wedding ceremony. We had so much fun celebrating with Karl and Melissa and watcing them exchange vows. Also, seeing old friends and making special new friends!  What are they up to? And what is my little one thinking? Alex amazed everyone when he started playing... And a song for Melissa... As we recall our wedding... Uncle Pete and Aunt Karen! We LOVE seeing them and just being together. We recalled how they video'd our entire wedding and provided us so much inspiration in our own marriage.  We love you, U. Pete and A. Karen!! Alex explaining things... Atley's new best friend in the Berkshires!  Tiffen! Addison keeping busy! Isaiah 54:5   For your Maker is your husband,  the LORD of hosts is his name; and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer,  the God of the whole earth he is called.

When we arrived they weren't there yet, and all I saw were a few little tomotoe plants with a couple of cherry tomatoes. I thought it was so sweet that she saved them for us to pick. I also thought her garden would be a bit bigger. Then they came home and showed us the REAL garden! I have never in my life seen a backyard garden with so much bounty!!! Her garden was in the lot next door and we didn't know they had use of that land. I need some gardening tips! I would love a garden like this but animals seem to like my food. And I dont seem to get so much. Maybe I do to little.   You know Rick was so excited since he loves vegetables! And when you are travelling they can be hard to find! Not here!  Getting ready for the big day! We took a trip to the State Forest... Then we heading to the...
