December in Pictures

Image
These pictures are a bit out of order. December was a busy month. Busier than expected. With Alex taking Chemistry, Algebra 2, a tough English class, US History etc...and other classes not to mention all of Addison's and Atley's work, there was work going on until right before Christmas. The outside classes are wonderful in so many ways, but we do loose the freedom of schedule. Christmas was here before we knew it! It was a fun season. We did find time to go to a trampoline jump place and skiing this month! Then most of us were down with a virus! Just at the time of our break! At least no school was missed!  Addison tested for his red belt. This is one level before black. I am amazed at how well he does.  Part of his testing involved board breaking...  This was a good place to get rid of any excess energy! We hosted a party for Alex and some of his friends. They played some games. One of them was to wrap one person up in paper...

Then President Lincoln declared it a national holiday and unifed the date we set aside to give thanks.    I am so thankful that we live in a place that is not a warzone, that we have food on the table and in the stores. I am thankful for the opportunity to worship the Lord freely. I am thankful for heat, a roof over my head and my cozy bed. I am thankful for  my fa...
