As we head into the Christmas season, I remembered to post! We had a fun Halloween night. I was the princess again and Rick was my mountain man in lederhosen. :) Atley was a doughnut and Addison was with friends. LOL!
Atley made her costume using a flotie, paint, hot glue gun and pipe cleaners...
I turned 50. I don't like it very much.
Alex came home from OLD School and it was good to see him. He has made really great friends and had some crazy adventure. He also gained 20 pounds!
Rick has missed his first mate, Alex, so the second night Alex was home they prepared the boat and camped out, even though it was only 33 degrees at night.
Wonderful Thanksgiving day at Omi and Popops. It was so nice to be together .
Look closely and you can see Addison taking the photo from outside- his reflection. And Rick in the middle.
Addison has been working out a lot! Here he is doing what he calls "pumpkining". Great strength and concentration is required.
This was most difficult. Bouncing on his head....
Then we went to a turkey shoot! We had never shot before. Well, I remember being a small child and visiting the farm in Nebraska and shoooting cans off of a fence. I was pretty good and never tried again until this night. I came is second in my round.
And look who won this turkey!
Onto less glamourous things.... Replacing 2 toilets...
And our Latin class went to Defy Gravity! They have a slack line and if you can make it all the way across you win a free hour. Addison did it the first try! Not many people do it at all.Maybe all that "pumkinning" helps with balance on the slack line. Alex also won.
In addition to the Latin class, Atley and Alex joined us ...
This is a bit like "Where's Waldo" ?Where are Rick and Atley?
