Spring Really is Here!

We have had an eventful spring season. It has been a while since since a post so here is an update of some of the things we have been doing. 

Addison tested for his black belt and DID achieve the rank of black belt. There are many levels in black belt so this is just the beginning. He also is taking a class on instructing and has begun teaching in the white and yellow belt children's class. 

Duke Gardens! We went to a honeybee education session and then picniced on the grounds with some of our friends.

And for Easter we decorated eggs together! We also celebrated with  a Seder meal.

 Off to the park with one of our groups. There is a train that goes around the park and we had so much fun riding that little train.

I had to include this beautiful picture of Uncle Pete and Aunt Karen! They are still so in love and happily married after all these years.

And Atley broke here arm. She was in a hammock at a friend's house and tried to pet a passing dog. Instead she plopped out and landed wrong. Wrong for her arm. She broke the radius and the ulna.

Addison was in the play/musical Pilgram's Progress. He had the lead role as Pilgram/Christian. All the children did exceedingly well. And Addison did a fantastic job acting and leading the show. I had tears in my eyes for most of it!
